JICA Indivisual Country Training for China in Fiscal 2009 "Japan-China Related Policy Training Concerning Climate Change and CDM" was held

“Japan-China Related Policy Training Concerning Climate Change and CDM”' was held on Augusut 17(Mon) with being invited for the 11 training participants from China. Training participants learn about CDM (Clean Development Mechanism), an aspect of the greenhouse gases emission trading adopted as ”Flexibility Measures” in order to achieve the numerical goals of the “Kyoto Protocol”. In particular, the purpose of the training is to learn how to create the CDM-PDD (Project Design Document) which would be used as the application of relevant projects. Another purpose is to develop the capacity of local CDM Center experts under the local (ministerial) Science and Technology Agency and Science and Technology Department in charge of a series of deliberations of approval/implementation of CDM projects, audits, approval, and advice, etc.
