ICETT Participates in 11th Mie Leading Industry Exhibition

　

On November 7 (Thur.) and 8 (Fri.), ICETT took part in the 11thMie Leading Industry Exhibition in Yokkaichi Dome and set up an exhibit booth at the Mie prefectural policy zone.

The purpose of this event was to provide business matching opportunities to various companies and organizations, ranging from leading-edge to community-based industries that use local resources, while promoting their own products, services, and technologies on exhibit. There was an award ceremony on stage for people of industrial merit. At a seminar hall, seminars on Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan, also featured by ICETT’s recent programs, were carried out along with a seminar on overseas business promotion in China.

ICETT has made great efforts to provide small and midsize businesses with environmental business support, so ICETT not only exhibited to explain the activities and programs of ICETT, but also attended seminars and made courtesy visits to the environment-related exhibitors to collect information on companies involved in environmental business.

As a result of questionnaire surveys, submitted by visitors to the ICETT booth, it was found that there were many respondents who know or have heard about ICETT. This fact served as an opportunity to realize that ICETT has developed relationships with environmental businesses through various programs, such as training courses and surveys. It was, however, felt necessary to promote ICETT’s activities and programs even more actively and clearly to gather information on companies engaged in environmental business. ICETT will take advantage of this experience in the future.
