On June 7, 2011(Tues.), ICETT launched a JICA-commissioned training course on “Waste Management (A) for Promoting Recycling-Oriented Societies in Central and South America”. Seven participants came from four countries: Bolivia, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and El Salvador.
Ahead of training at ICETT, the participants made presentations of their inception reports at JICA Chubu in Nagoya. They explained what problems their countries need to solve with regard to the theme of this course, and what they intended to learn about in order to deepen their understanding of the situation in each of their countries.
On June 7, they attended an orientation session, and will start taking lectures after an opening ceremony on June 8.
