From 10:30 to 12:00, on January 29, 2013, ICETT was visited by Consul Chen of the Consulate General of China in Nagoya. ICETT explained to him its activities and programs, using a Chinese version of the ICETT introduction video and documents for Chinese participants in training courses.

These participants were from various provinces and cities, such as Henan Province, a sister province of Mie Prefecture, and Tianjin, a sister city of Yokkaichi. China is confronted with a growing concern about wastewater, air pollution, and waste disposal problems as it is economically growing. The country needs to take countermeasures against the current environmental issues and acquire technology to prevent pollution beforehand in the future. In this context, ICETT exchanged opinions and views with the consul on training details and expenses, and the consul commented on ICETT’s great environment as a training facility.陳領事
