2012 Mie Kids Eco Fair Held

On July 21 (Sat.) and 22 (Sun.), the annual 2012 Mie Kids Eco Fair was organized in the Suzuka Foothills Research Park where ICETT is located.
The event is designed for children to learn about the environment through amusing experiences. There were many exhibits as well as a variety of experience-based booths, including handicraft.

There were over 500 visitors at ICETT, even though it was rainy during the two days.
ICETT exhibited panels for children to learn about the environment and ICETT’s activities, while carrying out quizzes regarding national flags, souvenirs from different countries, and the environment.

The kids enjoyed the quizzes and playing computer games related to the environment together with their parents.
We will make greater efforts next year to provide another opportunity for children to develop an interest in the environment. (Ohashi)
