On November 27 (Thur.), 2014, the Chubu Recycle Network (CRN) organized a field trip. It was attended by 16 members of CRN. Three ICETT officials took part in its afternoon session. The participants visited Kasumi Kyodo Jigyo Co., Ltd. (KKJ) in a Yokkaichi industrial complex and observed wastewater treatment. The event attracted participants from a wide variety of businesses and organizations. Some teach at a university or engage in engineering, food processing, and local administration, others work in the environmental field, including environmental consulting, construction of energy saving houses, heat exchanging paints and coatings, soil and water purification, and industrial waste disposal. The participants were quite satisfied with the acquisition of useful information from visiting facilities they usually don’t have an opportunity to see. |
