| Contents | ICETT takes advantage of useful experience in overcoming pollution problems such as the so-called Yokkaichi asthma and creates and provides assistance to local core businesses in the Chubu central region of Japan to encourage them to increase sales outlets in and outside Japan while developing new environmental technologies and enhancing their existing ones. ICETT also helps potential core companies, which engage in environmental business, develop networks to solve challenges, such as finding technical partners and potential sales outlets in and outside Japan and the acquisition of technology which they don’t possess. |

Mie Prefecture-Commissioned Global Business Promotion Council “Environmental Panel” Operated as Secretariat

| Contents | In March 2016, an environmental panel with ICETT as its secretariat was approved at a planning and management committee of the Mie Prefecture Global Business Promotion Council. "Survey of Industrial Pollution Control Measure～Survey for case studies of pollution control management in the businesses～"

Regarding pollution control management structure of businesses, in FY 2015 METI conducted a survey on existence of pollution control management in the businesses in Japan. In this connection, in FY 2016 METI will collect the practical information of efforts for pollution control management in the field of respective business and develop the booklet on the case studies and conudct dissemination seminars in the some regions in Japan. |
