Energy Efficiency Improvement Program in China On-site diagnosis and technical guidance at the target plants (area A: north area of Yunnan province)

ICETT visited 3 chemical fertilizer plants in north area of Yunnan province and conducted activity for energy efficiency improvement in the plants from June 22 to 26.
In the activity, technical manager and relevant staffs of energy conservation in the plants were interviewed and on-site diagnosis was conducted, mainly by Japanese expert. Before visit to the plants, handbook containing energy conservation of chemical fertilizer plant and case study was given to the plants to efficiently and effectively implement the activity, and the plants studied the handbook and carried out self-diagnosis based on checklist contained in the handbook. Japanese experts proposed some improvement options for energy efficiency in each plant based on the on-site diagnosis and gave a technical guidance to them. Meanwhile, Chinese experts provided necessary information on policy, regulation and technology in China so that the plants can implement the improvement measures proposed by Japanese experts. The plants will conduct feasibility study on the improvement measures until next activity in October.
