The first Glocal Human Resource Development Course will be held.
"A Global Company is Right Here around us!" — Learning About Global Connections from a Company Active in Our Community —
ICETT will hold the "Glocal Human Resource Development Course" over a total of three sessions, commissioned by Mie Prefecture.
The purpose of the Glocal Human Resources Development Course is to provide opportunities for young people connected with Mie Prefecture to raise their international awareness and sense, and to look at the world. The purpose of the course is to broaden the international perspective of young people who will be responsible for the future of Mie Prefecture, and to lead to the development of Glocal human resources.
For the first session, under the theme “A Global Company is Right here around us!—Learning About Global Connections from A Company Active in Our Community,” we’ll visit Imuraya Group Co., Ltd. in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture!
Experienced lecturers from the Imuraya Group Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells a variety of popular products, including the very popular "Azuki Bar", and expands its business from Mie to all over Japan and overseas, will introduce their overseas business development, cross-cultural understanding and the charms and strengths of Mie Prefecture, environmental initiatives, and relationships with local communities.

We also plan to include factory tours—such as one of the “Azuki Bar” factory—as well as group discussions among participants.

Meet near the East Exit of Tsu Station around 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24
*Round-trip transportation from the meeting point to Imuraya Group Co., Ltd. will be provided by a free shuttle bus arranged by the secretariat (ICETT).
*The secretariat will send participants an email at a later date with details regarding the meeting time and location.
*Please note that you are responsible for your own transportation costs from your home to the meeting place.
*The tour is scheduled to end around 5:05 p.m. near the East Exit of Tsu Station.
