Abstracts

ICETT has implemented the Awareness-raising Seminar on Waste to Energy in FY2023. Regarding this seminar, ICETT conducted a courtesy call to the Consul General, Mr. Voltaire D. Mauricio, at the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Osaka.

Discussion with the Consul General

During the visit, the Consul General, Mr. Mauricio shared the Consulate's activities and recent collaboration initiatives with local governments in the Philippines. He expressed a great interest in ICETT's initiatives and efforts.

Mutual Cooperation

The Consul General and ICETT expressed mutual interest and further collaboration toward advancing resource circulation and fostering a circular economy. ICETT will continue to work for resource circulation in the Philippines.

ICETT is planning to implement the Key Person Training Course from October 27 to November 2, 2024.

The training participants will be the government officials of the Philippines Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the DOST Regional Office III, and the provincial government of Pampanga. The executives of the food processing industry, the waste disposal industry, the recycling promotion association, and others will also participate in the course. ICETT will deliver lectures and study tours of the relevant companies and local governments in Mie and Aichi prefectures.
