 (2) Awareness-raising seminar on energy recovery from food waste

Pampanga Province in Region III of the Philippines is located in the suburbs of Metro Manila and has a thriving manufacturing industry, including the Clark Special Economic Zone. New Clark City is under construction as a national GX and IT city projects, and the food processing industry based on rich agricultural resources is developing. The population is increasing by 2% per year and is expected to reach 3.5 million by 2030, and as a result, urbanization is underway.

Against this background, waste is expected to increase, while final disposal sites are under pressure, making the conversion of waste into resources an urgent issue.
