ICETT will hold the "Seminar on Developing Glocal Human Resources" over three sessions, commissioned by Mie Prefecture.
The Seminar on Developing Glocal Human Resources aims to broaden the international perspectives of young people who are the future of Mie Prefecture and to develop glocal human resources by providing opportunities for young people associated with Mie Prefecture to enhance their international awareness and sensibilities and to open their eyes to the world.
The third lecture will be titled "Contributing to the Future of the Earth! Agriculture is so great - Evolving agriculture supported by global human resources and technology".Under the theme of "Glocal Agriculture", participants will visit Asai Noen Corporation, which is engaged in advanced R&D-oriented agriculture, and explore the possibilities of glocal agriculture linking the region and the world through dialogue with the lecturer and observation of the company!
First, participants will tour the Takanoo garden of Asai Noen, which produces kiwifruit, and the headquarters research building to experience advanced agriculture in action. In addition, lecturers with overseas experience will talk about the use of overseas human resources, introduction of sustainable agricultural development, the relationship between agriculture and climate change/food issues, regional cooperation and the attractiveness of Mie Prefecture, and exchange opinions in groups.

*To get from the meeting place to Asai Farm and back, the secretariat (ICETT) will arrange a chartered bus (free of charge).
*Transportation expenses to the meeting place are to be paid by the participants.
Estimated time of disbandment is around 17:00 around Tsu Station.

Young people aged between high school and 35 years old in Mie Prefecture
*You can participate if one of the following is in Mie Prefecture: place of residence, hometown, school attended, school attended, or place of employment.
