【Report】The 1st ICETT Carbon Neutral Seminar "Trends and Business Opportunities for Decarbonization Initiatives in ASEAN Countries" was held.

Summary

　International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer (ICETT) held the 1st ICETT Carbon Neutral Seminar "Trends and Business Opportunities for Decarbonization Initiatives in ASEAN Countries" on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Nagoya International Center, 5th Floor Conference Room 1, with the aim of informing people about current decarbonization initiatives in ASEAN countries and to promote interest in overseas business development related to carbon neutrality.

　The two lecturers, both experts on ASEAN economies, gave detailed explanations of economic trends, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and decarbonization policies in ASEAN countries, including case studies from each country. JETRO Mie also introduced its overseas expansion support services.

　At the business card exchange session held at the venue after the seminar, participants had a lively individual exchange of opinions with the lecturers.
