Report】Report at the Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines in Osaka as a follow-up to the Human Resource Development Project in the Field of Advanced Technology Deployment (Green Strategy).

Summary

　In FY2023, ICETT implemented the "Human Resource Development Project in the Field of Advanced Technology Deployment (Green Strategy): Awareness Seminar on Energy Recovery from Waste in the Philippines". In connection with this activity, the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Osaka, Consul General Voltaire DelacruzMauricioWe paid a courtesy visit to Mr. K. K. Kato, and reported to him.

　Consul General Mauricio provided information on the Consulate's activities and recent cooperation programs with local governments in the Philippines, and expressed great interest in ICETT's efforts.

　The Consul General and ICETT expressed their mutual interest and further cooperation in promoting resource recycling and fostering a circular economy. ICETT will continue to make every effort to cooperate with the realization of resource recycling in the Philippines.

　In FY2024, the Philippines Department of Science and Technology, the Third Regional Office of the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Government of Pampanga, the food processing industry, the waste disposal industry, and the recycling promotion industry, etc. will be invited to participate in a one-week training program from October 27 to November 2, 2024, in Mie and Aichi Prefectures, where lectures and facility visits by related companies and local government officials will take place. The training will be held in Mie and Aichi Prefectures for a week from October 27 to November 2.
