Kenji Ebata, Vice-Governor of Mie Prefecture, visited ICETT on August 27th (Thu) as part of an inspection tour of the Suzuka Foothills Research Park, exchanged opinions with concerned persons, and inspected the ICETT building interior. During his visit, the Vice-Governor viewed training in the JICA pollution control and local area environmental management course, and talked with trainees from China, Ghana and Tajikistan. The trainees said, “We are delighted to be able to participate in this training, and also to meet the Vice-Governor. We are learning that Mie prefecture enterprises and residents have been seriously taking action together to successfully overcome pollution problems.”
