Sui Yuanchun

Vice-Director, State Economic and Trade Commission Energy Conservation Information Dissemination Center (SECIDC) Graduated from Heating Engineering Department of Harbin Architecture Engineering University with Bachelors Degree in 1982 and Masters Degree inb1987 and from Thermal Engineering Department of Tongji University in Shanghai with Ph.D in 1994.
Was employed as Assistant Professor, Harbin Architecture Engineering University, and later as lecturer at Thermal Engineering Department of Tongji University. Then worked as Deputy-Chief, General Division of Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization Department, State Economic and Trade Commission. Holds present position as of February, 1998, with responsibilities including research, design, and liasing between Chinese enterprises and foreign organizations in the energy efficiency field.

Xing Yue

Engineer, Energy Department, Shanghai Baoshan Steel Group Graduated with Heat Energy major from Northeastern University. Assumed present position as engineer in Energy Department of Baosteel Factory in 1983. Duties include energy analysis and management in the iron & steel corporation, and application of energy saving techniques in the steel industry.

Manager of Environmental Control, PT. Krakatau Steel
Graduated from Chemistry Faculty of Gajah Mada University, Central Java Jogyakarta in 1973.
Previously worked as Assistant Manager of the Safety and Environment Section of the same company, and also Superintendent of Environmental Control. Present position entails organization and coordination of environmental study activities, developing technology related to environment control, and maintaining relations with government institutions. Has undergone related training in several countries overseas.

Assumed present position in 1996, analysing and evaluating implementation of EIA studies, preparing environmental policies, and offering guidance in the preparation of EIA studies for PLN projects, in the field of generating, transmitting, and distributing electrical power

Dadang Ruchyat Thiar

Technical Coordination Division Manager, PT. Bakrie Kasei Corporation
Graduated from Institute Technology, Bandung as a Chemical Engineer in 1978.
After work as Manager of Operations at PT. Chow Bersaudara and Assistant Manager and General Affairs Manager at PT. Riasima Abadi and PT. PAP Gunung Putri until 1991, joined Bakrie and Brothers as Project Staff in 1991. Has been in Technical Coordination Section of PT. Bakrie Kasei Corporation since 1992, assuming present position in 1996. Has taken part in numerous environment-related conferences throughout Asia.

Graduated from Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, followed with a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University, U.S.A. in 1994.
Began employment at Nestle Foods, Head Office in 1992 as a Group Electrical Engineer, and as of 1996 undertook present position of Engineering Manager, being responsible for factory maintenance, investment and budget management, as well as long term production plant planning.

Janting Anak Sijore

Assistant Manager, Maintenance, Steel Industry Sarawak Berhad
After receiving NITTCB, Intermediate Electrical, and Chargeman Certificates, undertook employment at present workplace, first as Electrician, and later Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance Executive, attaining present position in 1995.
Present position involves planning, supervision, servicing and maintenance as well as upgrading and implementing energy-efficient measures for Steel Industry Sarawak.

Mohamad Adan Bin Yusof

Graduated from University of Wales, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor of Science (Electrical and Electronic), and Diploma in Technology from Brighton Technical College, United Kingdom.
After being employed with the Tenaga Nasional Berhad in Bangsar for 6 years as Planning Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Senior Executive (Strategic Management), was employed by Economic Planning Unit as Prime Minister.
Department Assistant Director (Power), advising and consulting the energy section of EPU in 1994. Assumed present position at Techno Economists in 1997, developing energy optimization schemes and undertaking consultancy for Coal Fired Power Plant Indonesia in Tanzania.

Pastor Caminade Amacanin, Jr.

Material Process Control Manager, FR Cement Corporation
Graduated from University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu in 1982 with Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering), passing Board examination in same year.
Was employed as Laboratory Analyst, Pilipinas Cement Corporation, and Physical Tester at Cement Central Laboratory Philcemcor before joining FR Cement Corporation as Shift Control Chemist in 1987.
From 1988 to 1995 held position of Chief Chemist before undertaking present assignment as MPC Manager (responsible for materials, Process Quality Control Department). Has taken part in numerous workshops, both locally, and abroad.

Antonio Pangilinan Arrobio

Vice-President, Cathay Pacific Steel Corporation
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Metallurgical Engineering) from the University of the Philippines in 1980. From 1984 to 1986 undertook a Master in Economic Research at the Center for Research and Communication.
Left position as Head of Business Development at GST PHIL. INC. in 1994 to undertake employment at present workplace as Assistant Vice-President. In present capacity as Vice-President (1996~), oversees Corporate Affairs, Project Development, Sales, and Human Resource Development. Has had training worldwide and presented numerous articles. Currently holds title of Executive Director, Philippine Steelmakers Association and Treasurer, Association of Responsible Recyclers of the Phil., Inc.

Ramon Lucero Rosales

Chief Investment Specialist, Construction Materials Division, Basic Industries Dept., Board of Investments.
Graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology Intramuros, Manila in 1973. Began working for Board of Investments, in 1974 as an Assistant, and later Analyst, Investment Specialist, and Officer-in-Charge. As of April 1998 holds current position, coordinating closely with the private sector in development of construction material industries. Has taken part in project management and development strategy programs and seminars worldwide.

Responsiblilities include overseeing conservation of energy in Siam Cement plants, pursuing alternative fuels, and managing Cementhai Energy Conservation Co., Ltd.

Plant Analysis and Performance Control Manager, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT)
Graduated from KMIT with a Masters Degree in Engineering in 1980.
After working as an instructor at South East Asia University for 5 years, entered present position at EGAT in 1982, with chief responsibilities being to analyse and report loss problems of EGAT power plants.
