Update:January 16, 2014
On November 18, 2013, ICETT held an “Environmental Business Matching Seminar and Business Talks” in Taiwan as part of the Japan-Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Project, subsidized by the Interchange Association, Japan. This event on sludge reduction, resource recovery from waste, wastewater disposal, and soil purification was attended by twelve Japanese companies and 38 Taiwanese companies. At sectional meetings, the Japanese companies presented their own appealing technologies and products. After the meetings, there were as many as 100 business talks in total between the Japanese and Taiwanese companies.
On the day before this occasion, ICETT conducted a study session to explain the Japan-Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Project, examples of partnerships, and needs in Taiwan for environmental technology. On the day after the seminar, joint wastewater treatment and resource recycling facilities at a Taipei industrial park were visited.
There are expectations that this project will play a role as a bridge between Japanese and Taiwanese businesses.
ICETT would like to express its gratitude for the cooperation of the companies that participated in the seminar despite the tight schedules.
